As everyone knows, there are monsters trapped under the streets of London. But where are they and what do they look like?
If you happen to be passing the Institute of Contemporary Arts this evening (Wednesday 18th), you can find out during a Free London's Monsters! live event.
Monsters will be conjured up and set free by the usual magic spells – imagination and text messages.
Illustrator Edward Ward at the ICA will be drawing the monsters as soon as they appear, and the drawings will be projected inside the building.
There will also be an art table with paper, crayons, felt tips, glitter and glue all in big yellow furry pencil cases, so that participants can illustrate their own monsters, and these will also be projected and posted to Flickr.
Free London's Monsters! takes place as part of Sandpit pervasive games night ( http://sandpit.hideandseekfest.co.uk/events/ ) and there is a call for collaborators to design future games for free monsters and for Thumbprint.
(The event begins at 7pm and children are very welcome. )
