Andy Sykes - who does a lot of illustration for me including Five Trees Forest and RFID Snakes and Ladders - and some of his fellow animators have kicked down the padlocked door of the disused C4 Animator in Residence booth right in the middle of the National Media Museum, and set up the Ayup Animation Lab in its place, with no money at all except the cost of a crowbar.

For me, also it's interesting that they have chosen to base themselves on Myspace more than Facebook. Those two feel like completely different cities, and it's Myspace that has neighbourhoods where artists would wind up. Facebook is more like Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
