These kinds of tags would make a feedback system. You go somewhere for a drink, you like it, you tag it with a kind remark (and/or a numerical score, which would make it easier to aggregate) from your mobile.
Group level behaviour emerges when lots of people read the scores and decide to go to the place with the highest score.
The scores could be presented as a little map screen with hotspots.
Though people have still got to be arsed, insightful, enough of them and not just give everything four out of five so as not to hurt anyone's feelings.
Be interesting to see this happens:
1. a location's score rises
2. it therefore attracts more peeps
3. the score peaks
4. place gets overcrowded
5. score quicly plummets due to bad feedback
Probably reflect what happens when a club makes the transition from underground and cool to mainstream and, er, uncool. You could do nice graphs with the numbers at least!
